Room 5, St Mary – King Size Room
St Mary is a spacious King size room at the back of the house, on the second floor.
It has a compact contemporary en-suite with powerful shower. This room has a modern sink in the bedroom.

The room is named afer St Mary’s Church
The first stones for St Mary’s Church, now the parish church of Whitby, were laid in about 1110 and she sits proudly on top of the East Cliff, close to the Abbey. It has been much altered over the centuries but escaped Victorian ‘modernisation’. Inside there are many box pews and a tall three-decker pulpit dating from the 18th Century.
