We are getting ready to re-open after Covid-19

We have got everything in place to re-open after been closed for 14 weeks.  We just need the Go-ahead from Borris.  Fingers crossed for 4th July 2020.

We have taken a Coronavirus course, done our Risk Assessment and bought all the correct cleaning solutions and PPE.

Things will be a little different from how they were.  There will be no self service starter for breakfast, and we can’t have everyone in the dining room together, so we will be having 2 sittings and everything will be waiter served.  You can rest assured you will still be getting our full award winning breakfast when you stay.  You can even use the breakfast room for a take away in the evening if you wish. (just throw your rubbish in the bin provided and only use your allocated table)

We have always prided ourselves on our cleaning, but now the cleaning will be more intense, using sanitisers.  All soft furnishings, like throws and cushions will have to be removed from the bedrooms, along with magazines, and information leaflets.  You can enjoy a stay at The Leeway, Whitby, knowing full well that  your health and ours is our top priority, and because of this, one of the changes, will be that we no longer service your room while you are staying with us. This reduces the risk of cross contamination.  Your room will be cleaned to the highest standard for when you arrive, and no one else will enter it, while you are here. (extra drinks and towels will be available).

So all we need now, is for Boris to say we can OPEN.  Bookings can be made on our website at www.theleeway.co.uk, or you can telephone us on 01947 602604
